Had a vision issue on Saturday morning.. Amazingly they have a Dr. on call option in the phone tree. I was able to be seen by a great Dr very quickly. Truly great care - there is still great medical care available.

Monterey Bay Eye Center is awesome! Super professional, helpful, and good prices! Lisa the optician provides the absolute best service! I moved away from Monterey a few years ago and she still goes out her way to take care of our family. I just mail her new frames and a prescription and she takes care of the rest. They also have warranties on some of their products that they honor without question (not sure which ones, they’ve definitely replaced my lenses a few times for free after I got some big scratches). Thanks guys! —— 2025 Update —— Moved to Oklahoma and tried using a local optician. Absolutely no comparison. MBEC is still the best place to do business.

Great visit and wonderful staff. From reception to testing, everyone was great. Patrick took care of all the pre-tests and Dr. Rosenbloom did the remainder and final checking.

Doctor Husted thoroughly examines my eyes, and ensures they are healthy. Looked inside for macular degeneration, and retinal problems. Had assistant take photos for better views. Equipment totally up to date! He really cares about his patients eye care & well being!

It was a good visit. I was rapidly seen and had the ordered scans done without a problem. Dr. Husted reviewed the results and recommended treatment and the RX were sent to the pharmacy. Thanks! Review of Cataract Surgery May 2025. I have worn glasses as a child then started contacts as a teenager. When I decided to go ahead with cataract surgery I was offered a relatively new procedure involving Light Adjustable Lens with the possibility I would no longer need contacts. I had both eyes done about 2 weeks apart and a follow up adjustment of the both lenses a month latter. There was no pain or complications. The outcome is excellent. I no longer need contacts or glasses for distance vision. I do use reading glasses as needed. Dr. Rosenblum gave me all the information to make an informed decision. Appointments at his office and the Monterey Peninsula Surgery were always professional and on time. I certainly highly recommend Dr. Rosenblum and the staff at Monterey Bay Eye Center without hesitation. Thomas Mork
