My friends suggested I switch over to Dr Rosenbloom after an uncomfortable experience with my previous Ophthalmologist. I find Dr Rosenblum gentle, compassionate and knowledgable. He takes time to answer my many questions, and has an excellent “chair side” manner. He even draws pictures for my persistent questioning mind! I recently had a laser procedure from him, which went smoothly and easily. All his staff and front office are also excellent.

I see Dr. Nakajima once a year for an eye exam. She is so kind and patient. She always goes above and beyond, and I appreciate all her knowledge and experience. I highly recommend Dr. Nakajima and Monterey Ete Center.

Update: its now 2026 and I’m still very pleased. Very, very happy with the quality of care from everyone. My eyes are getting older, like the rest of me, and I feel that I’ll be in good and realistic hands with Dr. Nakajime moving forward.

The office staff, inparticularly Bridgette who provided explicit, courteous directions to me when getting to the facility. She was so professional, kind, and proficient. From that amazing start, the rest of the staff, specifically the gentleman who tested my eyes was polite, patient, and competent in his job capacity. The office was sterile & the bathroom 🚻 inparticular was extremely clean, with an air filter & a pleasant fragrance. I’d definitely recommend this facility to others!

This eye doctor does a thorough job inspecting the eye. The person who helps you find your glasses is very helpful in finding something that suits your face and making sure it’s in your budget. We have been going here almost 20 years. I went to one other eye doctor was closer to me and realized that Monterey Bay Eye Center is worth the drive!!

Over many years, the doctors and the entire crew remain extremely capable and compassionate. An awesome group!
