It was a good visit. I was rapidly seen and had the ordered scans done without a problem. Dr. Husted reviewed the results and recommended treatment and the RX were sent to the pharmacy. Thanks! Review of Cataract Surgery May 2025. I have worn glasses as a child then started contacts as a teenager. When I decided to go ahead with cataract surgery I was offered a relatively new procedure involving Light Adjustable Lens with the possibility I would no longer need contacts. I had both eyes done about 2 weeks apart and a follow up adjustment of the both lenses a month latter. There was no pain or complications. The outcome is excellent. I no longer need contacts or glasses for distance vision. I do use reading glasses as needed. Dr. Rosenblum gave me all the information to make an informed decision. Appointments at his office and the Monterey Peninsula Surgery were always professional and on time. While traveling on vacation in California I had an episode which my wife thought I had a torn retina! My doctor at home in Arkansas advised me to see a retina specialist as soon as I could! We were traveling to Monterey Bay, so we contacted the Monterey Bay Eye Center and they got me an appointment the next day at 9:30 am! I saw Dr. Husted and he gave me a thorough check over and diagnosed PVD! No torn retina! If I am ever there again and need an eye exam this is where I will go! Professional friendly staff greeted us and treated us like we were regular patients!
