While traveling on vacation in California I had an episode which my wife thought I had a torn retina! My doctor at home in Arkansas advised me to see a retina specialist as soon as I could! We were traveling to Monterey Bay, so we contacted the Monterey Bay Eye Center and they got me an appointment the next day at 9:30 am! I saw Dr. Husted and he gave me a thorough check over and diagnosed PVD! No torn retina! If I am ever there again and need an eye exam this is where I will go! Professional friendly staff greeted us and treated us like we were regular patients!
