Technicians, Daria and Patrick and Sean are three of the best at MBEC. Kind, caring and conscientious. Dr. Leland Rosenblum is probably the very best and most sought-after eye specialist on the Monterey Peninsula. The office staff are efficient and always helpful and thorough. My visits are always a beneficial and pleasant experience. Also, I can’t forget Karen, who has been painstakingly helpful with managing my numerous medications. She is very special. I hope I remembered her name correctly.

Dr. Shi has been keeping a close watch on my glaucoma. She was particularly attentive to my needs today as my pressure numbers were higher than she wanted them to be. She prescribed a switch in drops to bring the numbers down. She proceeded to explain some of the ways that I could deal with some possible side effects that I may encounter. So far, it’s working out.

If not, my apologies. Regardless, I would like to make a few remarks about Dr. Shi. I have undergone two cataract surgeries with Dr. Shi. This process has taken several months from start to finish. Dr. Shi was always on time for her consultations and for the making of adjustments… whatever it took, and for as long as it took, to get my light sensitive lenses just right. She was professional in every way. I could not have asked made a better choice for having my eyes taken care of. I cannot believe the transformation I am experiencing now that the first lock-in has taken place. It may seem costly to have the light sensitive lenses chosen for the replacement of a cataract surgery, however, I am so glad I chose them. Over the past several months, Dr. Shi has become more like a family to me. I look forward to my visits and being in her company. Once I leave and am gone from her presence, I will definitely have fond memories of the experience with her and I will truly miss her.
